Refund Policy – Dasharath Nandan Foundation Trust (DRN Trust) Dasharath Nandan Foundation Trust (“DRN Trust”) is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which donations or payments made to the Trust may be refunded. 1. Purpose of the Policy The objective of this policy is to provide clarity to donors regarding the refund of donations, contributions, or payments made to DRN Trust. 2. Donations and Payments Eligible for Refund A refund may be considered only under the following circumstances: • The payment was made by mistake or in error. • A duplicate transaction occurred due to a technical or banking issue. • The donor submits a valid refund request within the allowed timeframe. Note: Donations utilized towards charitable projects or services already undertaken are generally non-refundable. 3. Procedure for Requesting a Refund To request a refund, the donor must send an official written request via email. The following details are mandatory: • Donor’s Full Name • Date and Amount of Donation • Mode of Payment (Online, Bank Transfer, Cheque, UPI, etc.) • Transaction Reference Number / UTR • Reason for requesting the refund 4. Time Limit for Refund Claims Refund requests must be made within 15 days from the date of the transaction. Requests submitted after this period will not be entertained. 5. Mode and Timeline of Refund • Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. • Payment gateway fees, bank charges, or administrative fees (if applicable) may be deducted. • Processing of refunds may take 10–15 working days from the approval date. 6. Non-Refund Conditions A refund will not be issued if: • The donation has already been utilized for a charitable purpose. • The request is initiated after 15 days. • Insufficient transaction details are provided for verification. 7. Event or Service Cancellation If the Trust cancels an event, activity, or service for which a payment was made, the donor may request a refund or transfer of funds to another Trust initiative, subject to approval. 8. Trust’s Rights DRN Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any refund request. The decision of the Trust shall be final and binding. 9.
